Are you due for your first mammogram or has it been years since your last screening mammogram? If you feel anxious about having one, join us in a spa-like atmosphere with manicures and massages, to make it a fun night out!
The American Cancer Society recommends annual screening mammograms for women aged 40 to 44 who are at average breast cancer risk. Women 45 to 54 should have mammograms every year. Women 55 and older may have a mammogram every other year or continue with yearly mammograms.
No physician referral is needed, and most annual mammograms are covered by insurance at no cost to you (if it has been at least one year since your last screening).
To attend this event, you must:
- Be 40 years old or older.
- Never have had a mammogram, or it’s been over a year since your last one.
