Lowell General Hospital Speech Language Pathology clinicians assist patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis with communication and swallowing disorders. We spend time with patients to evaluate and treat the specific area of speech and language in need of restoration and/or compensation.
Speech Language Pathology may be recommended for diagnosis and treatment of delayed speech, unintelligible speech, or for loss of communicative abilities following illness or injury.
