Drs. Honorine Ward and Christine Wanke are collaborating with Drs. Gagandeep Kang, Sitara Rao Ajjampur and Rita Isaac at the Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore India and Dr. Elena Naumova at Tufts University School of Medicine to investigate:
- Immune responses in cryptosporidiosis in children and HIV-infected adults
- The intestinal microbiotia in children and HIV-infected adults

Drs. Jeffrey Griffiths and Jeffrey Mariner, of the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, collaborate with Dr. Rajeev Dhere and colleagues at the Serum Institute of India to develop an ultrathermostable measles vaccine. Other collaborators include Drs. William Bellini and Paul Rota of the Centers for Diseases Control.
