At Tufts Medicine, we want to help your child be the best, healthy version of themselves. We offer services for all ages, from babies to young adults and everyone in between. We're here to provide the care your family needs, whether it's for regular checkups or diagnosing illnesses.
Primary partner in your child’s health
Your child's first line of defense for a healthier life is the pediatric primary care physician (PPCP), who plays a crucial role in their development. Our services range from preventive care for short or long-term health concerns to behavioral health issues. We diagnose and treat various conditions, conduct comprehensive examinations, prescribe medications, administer vaccinations, and offer guidance on your child's health and development.
We understand that your child's health needs can arise at any time and not just during regular office hours. That's why our team of top-notch pediatric specialists is available to you around the clock, seven days a week. Whether it's a routine checkup or an emergency situation, we are here to provide coordinated care for your child's well-being.

When your child has additional needs, we're here for you. We support your child and family with comprehensive services to connect your child to everything they need to help them thrive:
Adolescents and young adults have health needs that are different from those of children or adults. We provide adolescents and parents with a private, welcoming and supportive environment. We aim to provide safe, confidential care to adolescents to help them transition safely from childhood to adulthood.
We offer a full range of health services for new patients ages 11-18 years, building long-term relationships that can extend through the college years (generally available until age 21). We'll provide you with what you need to establish care with a doctor who cares for adults.
Our Center for Children with Special Needs is here to help your child thrive and live in harmony with their physical, developmental, behavioral and sensory needs. We provide a complete evaluation and diagnosis and work alongside you to find the best treatment options for your child's unique needs. Your child's primary care doctor must refer you to this program and there's often a short wait to join.
If your child or adolescent is in need of behavioral health services, we can help. You will experience the convenience and comfort of your child’s trusted primary care doctor working with our skilled child and adolescent psychiatry team. Our program offers evaluation and treatment options for a wide range of emotional, cognitive and behavioral problems.
At our pediatric and adolescent Asian primary care clinic, you and your family will find a friendly environment with bilingual staff and an after-hours emergency on-call line answered by Chinese-speaking care staff.
You may be referred to the Pediatric Complex Care Program (PCCP) if your child has 2 or more significant chronic conditions that need ongoing care. We know that might be hard. That's why we take the extra steps to support you and your family. Peace of mind in what can be a stressful situation is what we provide for you.
