Treatments

Taking care of yourself and feeling your best is a top priority during pregnancy. We work closely with you and your OBGYN to manage and successfully guide your pregnancy with rheumatic diseases. It's impossible to know if your rheumatic disease symptoms will stay the same, significantly improve or be triggered during this time and each pregnancy you experience will be different. We will support you by:

  • Managing symptoms
  • Checking medications (some medications can be harmful during pregnancy)
  • Minimizing your rheumatic disease flares and related issues
  • Monitoring the baby
  • Coordinating any necessary treatment for the baby after birth
