About this program
We have active divisions in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Family Planning, as well as faculty subspecialists in genetics and minimally invasive surgery.
Our mission is to train tomorrow’s leaders in healthcare. We accomplish this as a community through the pursuit of excellence in clinical care for all, advocacy at local, regional and national levels and with incredible research mentors.
Most of the residency training occurs at Tufts Medical Center (Tufts MC). In addition, our 3 affiliates – Lowell General Hospital, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center make important contributions to increase the breadth, depth and diversity of the resident’s clinical experiences.
The program has a unique balance of university and community-based care, evidence-based and cutting-edge practices, all with dedicated faculty and staff to guide and mentor the residents through their training. We maintain a 9-week elective rotation during the PGY-3 year, which allows residents the opportunity to explore individualized curriculum enhancement such as international work, away rotations and full-time research activities.
We are committed to promoting wellness and work-life balance for our residents, faculty and staff. Your career development is one of our top priorities, and residents are matched with career and research mentors to ensure their goals are fulfilled to the highest potential.
