That is why today we are announcing that we will require those who work within our hospitals and health system to be vaccinated against COVID-19 following the full FDA approval of one of the current vaccines. We anticipate this happening later this year.

On August 13, 2021 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided new recommendations for the mRNA (Pfizer and Moderna) COVID-19 vaccines for moderately to severely immunocompromised people. The CDC now recommends a third dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for these individuals.

She is now giving back by volunteering to administer inoculations at Lowell General Hospital’s regional vaccination site at Cross River Center, located at 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. East in Lowell.
