Investing in our mission

Appreciated securities are publicly-traded stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares that are worth more today than when you first acquired them. When you donate an investment you’ve held for at least 1 year, it’s sold to fund accessible patient care, innovative research projects, community programs, student training and much more.  

Tax deductions are important benefits for donors. By donating securities, you avoid paying capital gains tax while also receiving a charitable income deduction for the fair market value of your donation.

Charitable gift annuities and remainder trusts are additional ways to show your support while earning guaranteed retirement income. Please talk with your legal and financial advisors to make informed decisions and plan your gift.

Double the impact of your donation

Some organizations double their employee’s charitable gifts with equal contributions called employer-matched gifts. These programs are an important way for companies to let their employees support programs and causes close to their hearts.

Our employees see exactly how every dollar is put to work for the people we serve. Like funding groundbreaking cancer care. Or, reaching those in need, right where they live. And how we serve every person with compassion wherever they are in life’s journey. That’s what we do.

Our employee-giving fundraising is a grassroots effort to support these visions our team works so hard to achieve. We make it easy for our employees to support our health system one step further with tax-deductible financial donations drawn directly from their paychecks.
No one believes in our mission more than those on the front lines of care — our employees. Whether you work in accounts payable, at High Pointe House, as part of a care team, in urgent care or in a research lab, supporting our programs can be as easy as an automatic payroll deduction.

Ways to Give - Donor-Advised Funds

Funding a brighter future in healthcare  

Donor-advised funds are investment accounts made for charitable giving. Like a savings account, they grow in value over time. Contribute cash, securities or other assets to your DAF and receive an immediate tax deduction. Each time you make an irrevocable contribution, it counts as a gift for future use.

You can contribute to your account as often as you’d like, and let it grow tax-free. When you’re ready, use your account to give to our hospitals. Please consider making your gift a recurring one. The need has never been greater and the process of giving has never been easier.
