Clinical rotations at Tufts-affiliated hospitals enable residents to learn and operate with leading specialists in the Boston orthopedic community.  Residents gain invaluable, real-world experience as they learn about patients who have a wide variety of conditions, develop excellent decision-making abilities and hone their diagnostic and surgical skills.

The 3-year Clinical-Research Track has been funded by an institutional NIH grant since 1999, and is designed to provide a solid grounding in research methodology while launching fellows on a career of investigation in epidemiology, clinical trials, and observational research.
The 2-year Clinical Track is designed to orient fellows towards careers in clinical nephrology. Drawing on the strengths of Tufts Medical Center as both a quaternary-care referral center and a community resource, fellows are exposed to the spectrum of nephrology consultations including acute kidney injury, electrolyte and acid/base disorders, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis.
