The mission of the Center for Clinical Trials is to collaborate with clinical research investigators in the design, grant application, protocol development, execution, analysis and publication of prospective clinical trials. The center uses a collaborative structure that will improve efficiency and introduce innovation in all aspects of clinical trial design and conduct.
The Center for Clinical Evidence Synthesis (CCES), directed by Nanguneri Nirmala, PhD, promotes both the application of evidence based methods to healthcare topics and the development of methodologies in evidence synthesis.

We use these methods at Tufts Medicine and in research communities to generate evidence and improve care. We develop and demonstrate novel and impactful solutions to challenges across the translational research spectrum in collaboration with the other Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies (ICRHPS) and Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) centers, with Tufts University, and with multisite research networks. We promote interdisciplinary dialog on the application of advanced informatics and analytics for the improvement of health.

The Center for Advanced Healthcare Research Informatics, led by Dr. Andrew Williams, produces new modes and methods of using healthcare-generated data and other related data to support research.

Send the Universal Application, CV, personal statement, a passport-sized photo, a minimum of three letters of recommendation and no more than four letters of recommendation will be accepted, Medical School Dean’s Letter and Medical School Transcript, as well as USMLE Transcript with scores from Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3.
